It's About Jesus!

Gen 1:11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth tender sprouts (the herb seeding seed and the fruit tree producing fruit after its kind, whose seed is in itself) upon the earth; and it was so.

Gen 1:12 And the earth brought forth tender sprouts, the herb yielding seed after its kind, and the tree producing fruit after its kind, whose seed was in itself. And God saw that it was good.

Gen 1:13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.

The Third Day!
Do you remember something else on The Third Day!?

This was about Jesus!
What a wonderful Redeemer!

Who Are The Children of Unbelief?

Eph 2:2 Wherein1722, 3739 in time past4218 ye walked4043 according2596 to the3588 course165 of this5127 world,2889 according2596 to the3588 prince758 of the3588 power1849 of the3588 air,109 the3588 spirit4151 that now worketh1754, 3568 in1722 the3588 children5207 of disobedience:543

G543

ἀπείθεια

apeitheia

ap-i'-thi-ah

From G545; disbelief (obstinate and rebellious): - disobedience, unbelief.

Could it be that the children of unbelief are those who do not embrace the Finished Work of The Cross? Could it be that the majority of evangelical Christianity are in reality the children of disobedience? Most of them are living in the times past that Paul mentions here, they walk according to the course of this world i.e. rules and regulations in order to please God and not resting in the truth that Jesus fulfilled ALL the Laws, Rules & Regulations and thus ending that world. So I boldly declare to you Mr. & Mrs. Evangelical Christian come out from among the unbelievers and the disobedient that are trying to please God though their activities and service and rest in The Belief of Christ.

A Weekend That Will ROCK the WORLD!

Consider

1 Corinthians chapter 15 does not speak of the resurrection of the “bodies” but rather the resurrection of the “body”.

This chapter was only talking of two men... Adam and Jesus...

NOT YOU!

More South West Connection

From left to right: Don Rogers, Jim (Chappy) Clinkscales & Me
Notice how The Chaplain has his hands reverently crossed! hahaha! YEAH RIGHT!
By the way Jim is a Hospice Chaplain if you didn't know already. If I am ever sent to Hospice care to die I sure hope there is someone like him there! He is one of a kind! What kind I don't know though! hahaha!
Also Don is going into the hospital this weekend to fix a hole in his head.... NO REALLY no joke!
Please remember him and his family in the coming days as he recovers from the surgery.
For those of The Grace Pack, these two are like the cartoon crows Heckel & Jeckel! They together are funny as the thought of hell after the Cross! (that's a joke I hope you get!)

Grace Gathering UPDATE

Last night we had a Conference Call with Mike Williams, Cliff Hazelbaker, Bruce Draganjac, Steve West and myself to round out the plans for The Grace Gathering in August at Cliff's chapel in Straughn, Indiana.

The dates will be August 3-5, 2007
Bruce will be putting up a website with the details in a week or so. ALL who read here are invited!
Mike Williams will be our speaker and we will have plenty of time to get to know one another over the three days. This is one event you DO NOT want to miss! If you love the Gospel of Grace and Peace as do these men and women who will attend you will be glad you came. These people are some of the MOST grace filled individuals I have EVER had the pleasure of meeting. After spending 5 minutes with anyone of them you will feel as though you have known them all of your life.

Grace Gathering 2007

Don't Miss IT!

The Veil Is Gone

2Co 3:1 Does it sound like we're patting ourselves on the back, insisting on our credentials, asserting our authority? Well, we're not. Neither do we need letters of endorsement, either to you or from you.
2Co 3:2 You yourselves are all the endorsement we need. Your very lives are a letter that anyone can read by just looking at you.
2Co 3:3 Christ himself wrote it - not with ink, but with God's living Spirit; not chiseled into stone, but carved into human lives - and we publish it.
2Co 3:4 We couldn't be more sure of ourselves in this - that you, written by Christ himself for God, are our letter of recommendation.
2Co 3:5 We wouldn't think of writing this kind of letter about ourselves. Only God can write such a letter.

2Co 3:6 His letter authorizes us to help carry out this new plan of action. The plan wasn't written out with ink on paper, with pages and pages of legal footnotes, killing your spirit. It's written with Spirit on spirit, his life on our lives!
2Co 3:7 The Government of Death, its constitution chiseled on stone tablets, had a dazzling inaugural. Moses' face as he delivered the tablets was so bright that day (even though it would fade soon enough) that the people of Israel could no more look right at him than stare into the sun.
2Co 3:8 How much more dazzling, then, the Government of Living Spirit?
2Co 3:9 If the Government of Condemnation was impressive, how about this Government of Affirmation?
2Co 3:10 Bright as that old government was, it would look downright dull alongside this new one.
2Co 3:11 If that makeshift arrangement impressed us, how much more this brightly shining government installed for eternity?

2Co 3:12 With that kind of hope to excite us, nothing holds us back.
2Co 3:13 Unlike Moses, we have nothing to hide. Everything is out in the open with us. He wore a veil so the children of Israel wouldn't notice that the glory was fading away -
2Co 3:14 and they didn't notice. They didn't notice it then and they don't notice it now, don't notice that there's nothing left behind that veil.
2Co 3:15 Even today when the proclamations of that old, bankrupt government are read out, they can't see through it. Only Christ can get rid of the veil so they can see for themselves that there's nothing there.
2Co 3:16 Whenever, though, they turn to face God as Moses did, God removes the veil and there they are - face to face!
2Co 3:17 They suddenly recognize that God is a living, personal presence, not a piece of chiseled stone. And when God is personally present, a living Spirit, that old, constricting legislation is recognized as obsolete. We're free of it!
2Co 3:18 All of us! Nothing between us and God, our faces shining with the brightness of his face. And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him.
