Who Are The Children of Unbelief?

Eph 2:2 Wherein1722, 3739 in time past4218 ye walked4043 according2596 to the3588 course165 of this5127 world,2889 according2596 to the3588 prince758 of the3588 power1849 of the3588 air,109 the3588 spirit4151 that now worketh1754, 3568 in1722 the3588 children5207 of disobedience:543

G543

ἀπείθεια

apeitheia

ap-i'-thi-ah

From G545; disbelief (obstinate and rebellious): - disobedience, unbelief.

Could it be that the children of unbelief are those who do not embrace the Finished Work of The Cross? Could it be that the majority of evangelical Christianity are in reality the children of disobedience? Most of them are living in the times past that Paul mentions here, they walk according to the course of this world i.e. rules and regulations in order to please God and not resting in the truth that Jesus fulfilled ALL the Laws, Rules & Regulations and thus ending that world. So I boldly declare to you Mr. & Mrs. Evangelical Christian come out from among the unbelievers and the disobedient that are trying to please God though their activities and service and rest in The Belief of Christ.

Peace

Geo

I think it's very possible. *nods*

Thought provoking as always, Geo. These are the questions that religious people won't let themselves think about.

Hey, in IE7, there is some stray code showing up.

Yeah, I wish I could use firefox, but it won't work with a lot of things I use, like my online banking service. Plus the text rendering is terrible. Apparently, it doesn't do the text smoothing thing that IE does.

The answer to both IE7 and Firefox is Opera. Best browser there is. :)

I think you are right on as far as who the children of disobedience are. The times past Paul mentions is very important.

Right on, my fellow freedom fighter. After all those years I spent "evangelizing" the "sinners".
Showing them where the Bible says we are all sinners in Adam. Funny, I never saw the rest of the verse..."we are all made righteous in Christ" (ie, you can't choose Adam's sin, but you must choose the salvation of Christ, or burn)
And you better choose wisely and go to the right church, or you lose by ignorance.

What a crock of dung.

If the religious evangelicals are the disobedient and rebellious, you that make the organized church the "anti-christ and/or false profit, I mean prophet".

ABSOLUTELY! I believe your premise here. The very ones who point fingers are those most in need of God's grace, and they are usually the ones warming church pews.

It's like you so often say Geo......the good news is so good that most "believers" don't believe it.
